Add a human where it matters
On Assured, a UAE-licensed vet partner pre-checks your documents at three checkpoints and we submit the MOCCAE certificate for you. On Handoff, a vetted partner takes the crate, the cargo booking and the Dubai airport day.

build my timelineIf we get a rule wrong, we make it right
Every rule is sourced to an official authority page, dated, and reviewed by a UAE-licensed vet. If a step in your Plan was wrong because our published rule was wrong on the day you bought it, we refund the Plan in full and cover the direct cost of redoing the affected test, up to AED 900.
Covers errors in our data only. Not rules that change after purchase, details entered incorrectly, missed deadlines, or airline and authority discretion. This is not a guarantee your pet will be cleared to fly. No one can promise that. Full terms.
Questions you’re probably asking
How long does it take to get a pet out of the UAE?
+
It depends entirely on the destination, because each one sets its own mandatory waits. Starting from an unvaccinated pet: the UK takes about 4 weeks (21 full days after the rabies vaccine, then a certificate issued within 10 days of arrival). India takes about 6 weeks (the vaccine must be more than 1 month old, plus 7 working days for the AQCS Advance NOC). The USA takes at least 9 weeks (titre drawn 30 days after the vaccine, results in about 3 weeks, entry at least 28 days after the draw). Australia takes at least 7 months (180 days after the titre sample reaches the lab, plus the import permit). If your pet is already chipped and vaccinated, each of those shrinks. The free timeline uses your real dates.
What is a rabies titre test, and why does the timing matter so much?
+
A rabies titre (RNATT or FAVN) is a blood test that proves the vaccine worked: the result has to be at least 0.5 IU/ml. In Dubai it is run by CVRL, the government laboratory, at AED 750 plus VAT with results in about 3 weeks. The timing matters because the destination counts a mandatory wait from the day the blood is drawn: Australia will not admit the pet until 180 days after the sample reaches the lab, and the USA requires the draw at least 30 days after vaccination and at least 28 days before entry. Draw it too early and the result is void; draw it too late and the flight moves. From the UAE, the UK and the EU do not ask for a titre at all, because the UAE is a listed country.
What happens if my paperwork is wrong at the airport?
+
In Dubai the airline refuses the animal at cargo acceptance, which means the pet does not board and you rebook. At the destination it is worse. Great Britain can quarantine a non-compliant pet for up to 4 months or refuse entry, at your cost. The USA quarantines a dog from a high-risk country without a valid titre for 28 days at a CDC-registered facility, at the importer’s cost, and a dog without a facility reservation cannot enter at all. Australia can hold the animal longer, re-export it or, in the worst case, euthanise it, with all costs to you. India issues a deportation order for a pet arriving without a valid Advance NOC and quarantines a pet showing clinical signs for 15 days. Every one of these traces back to a step taken in the wrong order.
How much does it cost to relocate a pet from Dubai?
+
Published government fees are small: the MOCCAE export certificate is AED 100 for up to 2 pets, and the CVRL titre test is AED 750 plus VAT. The rest is vet work, the crate, cargo and, if you use one, an agent. Our sourced estimates for the whole thing excluding an agency are roughly AED 6,000 to 16,000 for the UK, AED 2,300 to 8,700 for India, AED 6,800 to 17,000 for the USA and AED 16,000 to 32,000 for Australia, where quarantine is the big line. Full-service agencies quote between AED 4,000 and AED 15,000 on top for the coordination. Pawssible’s Plan is AED 1,499, Assured is AED 3,499 and Handoff is AED 6,999, and every price is on this page.
Which breeds are banned or restricted?
+
Three lists matter. The destination’s list: Great Britain bans Pit Bull Terrier types, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro and the XL Bully; Australia bans those plus the Perro de Presa Canario and wolfdog hybrids, and from 1 March 2026 Bengal cats. The airline’s list: Emirates SkyCargo refuses snub-nosed breeds, including Bulldogs, Pugs, Boxers, Shih Tzus, Persians and British Shorthairs, outside November to April. The UAE’s own dangerous-dog list, which governs bringing a dog into the country and requires reinforced crates on the way out. Our free breed checker runs your breed against all three.
Can my pet fly in the cabin?
+
Usually not from Dubai. Emirates carries cats and dogs as cargo only, with cabin travel limited to assistance dogs. Great Britain requires pets arriving by air to travel as cargo unless on a private charter. Australia requires manifested cargo into Melbourne, no exceptions. Some carriers on Gulf routes to India and the USA accept small pets in the cabin, subject to their own weight and crate rules, and the USA still applies the CDC entry rules regardless of where the pet sits. Confirm with the specific carrier before you plan around it.
Do I need a relocation agent, or can I do this myself?
+
You can do it yourself if you know the order and the dates, and most of the cost of an agency is knowing exactly that. An agent earns their fee when the timeline is very tight, the species is exotic, the route needs destination-side handling, or you simply have no bandwidth. Pawssible sits in between: the Plan gives you the dated sequence and documents to do it yourself, Assured adds a licensed vet checking your documents before they go anywhere, and Handoff hands the physical part to a vetted logistics partner. We publish what each one does and does not include.
What does Pawssible actually do, and what do I still have to do?
+
We plan and validate. We turn your destination’s published rules into a dated sequence for your pet, we check your documents against those rules (Assured), and we submit the MOCCAE export certificate for you (Assured). We do not physically transport animals, we do not run the airport day (that is a vetted partner, on Handoff), and we cannot promise any authority will clear your pet. You still take your pet to the vet, sit with them for the blood draw, and hand the crate over at the cargo terminal. We make sure that when you get there, every document is right.
